Rumpus Room is the passion project of Maxine and Shaun in honour of their deceased best friends. Inspired by their love of humanity and creative pursuits, RR strives to be the premiere destination in Grey-Bruce for community minded fun. With an emphasis on music, art and acceptance of people from all walks of life, we welcome you to join the Rumpus. We have regular opening hours but are happy for you or your organization to create your OWN Rumpus by contacting us for a booking. While we sell bar snacks, we encourage you to get takeout from your favourite local restaurant (Casero, Shanny’s, Parkwood, Sabitri’s, Milk Maid, Papi’s) and enjoy at our venue. Please note we carry beer and wine, but at our heart we are a cocktail lounge 🙂

Thursday join us for Happy Hour discounts from 5-8 [open til late] with chill hangs, games [just ask!] or good conversation.
Friday from 8 pm come check the rump for a band, DJ or just a good time with awesome people.
Saturday from 8 pm the Proper Party Project DJ’s curate a soundtrack to your night out.
Our venue closes for the evening when the vibe is chill. Come check us out!

- Amaretto Sour
Italian almond liqueur, bourbon, lemon a dash of simple and aquafaba [or egg white] combine to form a lovely 1980’s fave. There’s a reason we like it and think you will too.
- Clover Club (Sydney Ed.)$15
Curated specifically for Midwives Grey Bruce, this cocktail features homemade raspberry syrup as it’s focus. Gin, lemon, dry vermouth and egg white round out the taste. Garnished with fresh raspberries. Availability varies, so please ask.
- Corpse Reviver #2$16
Absinthe rinsed glass and equal measures of gin, Cointreau [triple sec], Lillet Blanc and lemon. This is a strong one!
- Cosmopolitan$15
A modern classic. Vodka, cranberry, Cointreau [triple sec] and lime. Bright and refreshing.
- Division Bell$15
Like the naked and famous but find it too boozy? Try this one instead! Smokey Mezcal is balanced beautifully against reduced ratios of maraschino and Aperol liqueur and cut with lime.
- French Blonde$15
Rumoured to be Taylor Swift’s favourite…also a perfect spring cocktail. Lillet Blanc, grapefruit juice, St. Germain, gin and lemon round this out. Light and floral.
- Hugo Spritz$15
St. Germain, lime juice and fresh mint topped with prosecco and soda
- Japanese Slipper$13
Tastes like a green apple Jolly Rancher. Melon liqueur [sorry no Midori anymore], Cointreau and lemon. Easy sipping. Sweet.
- Maple Chocolate Espresso Martini$16
Vodka, maple cream liquer, creme de cacao and espresso combine to form a sweet, Elbows Up inspired cocktail.
- Old Fashioned$14
The OG. Whiskey, sugar and Angostura bitters. Garnished with orange and an Amarena cherry.
- Labatt Crystal$6
NOW we’re a real bar in Grey-Bruce.
- Molson Canadian$6
Thanks to the orange dictator to the south, we’ve decided to only stock Canadian beers! Sorry PBR – we loved you, but we need to make room.

We don’t provide much by way of food here aside from chips so please feel free to grab a bite and enjoy it in our venue. Please note we do NOT allow outside drinks.

Amarena cherry syrup, lime juice and soda garnished with a lime wedge and amarena cherry. Sweeter but refreshing!
- Non Alcoholic Beer$6.50
We have a small variety of non or very low [0.5% ABV] canned drinks available – Corona Sunbrew and offerings from Athletic Brewing Co.
- Orange Ginger Lemonade$9
A refreshing home made recipe of fresh ginger, orange juice and lemon. Topped with soda.
