Rumpus Room is the passion project of Maxine and Shaun in honour of their deceased best friends. Inspired by their love of humanity and creative pursuits, RR strives to be the premiere destination in Grey-Bruce for community minded fun. With an emphasis on music, art and acceptance of people from all walks of life, we welcome you to join the Rumpus. We have regular opening hours but are happy for you or your organization to create your OWN Rumpus by contacting us for a booking. While we sell bar snacks, we encourage you to get takeout from your favourite local restaurant (Casero, Shanny’s, Parkwood, Sabitri’s, Milk Maid, Papi’s) and enjoy at our venue. Please note we carry beer and wine, but at our heart we are a cocktail lounge 🙂

Thursday join us for Happy Hour discounts from 5-8 [open til late] with chill hangs, games [just ask!] or good conversation.
Friday from 8 pm come check the rump for a band, DJ or just a good time with awesome people.
Saturday from 8 pm the Proper Party Project DJ’s curate a soundtrack to your night out.

Italian almond liqueur, bourbon, lemon a dash of simple and aquafaba [or egg white] combine to form a lovely 1980’s fave. There’s a reason we like it and think you will too.
The classic 3:2:1 spritz recipe with your choice of Italian liqueur. Prosecco base and topped with soda on ice.
Prohibition era drink designed to hide the taste of homemade gin. Gin, honey syrup, lemon, black pepper.
Curated specifically for Midwives Grey Bruce, this cocktail features homemade raspberry syrup as it’s focus. Gin, lemon, dry vermouth and egg white round out the taste. Garnished with fresh raspberries. Availability varies, so please ask.
Like the naked and famous but find it too boozy? Try this one instead! Smokey Mezcal is balanced beautifully against reduced ratios of maraschino and Aperol liqueur and cut with lime.
Rumpus Room’s version of the ubiquitous espresso martini. Decaf available.
Rumoured to be Taylor Swift’s favourite…also a perfect spring cocktail. Lillet Blanc, grapefruit juice, St. Germain, gin and lemon round this out. Light and floral.
St. Germain, lime juice and fresh mint topped with prosecco and soda
A riff on yet another Sam Ross cocktail. Muddled cucumber, lemon juice, simple, St. Germain and a hearty 2 oz of Jameson’s combines in a rocks glass with ice to make a unique, refreshing drink. If it’s your first, it won’t be your last.
Tastes like a green apple Jolly Rancher. Melon liqueur [sorry no Midori anymore], Cointreau and lemon. Easy sipping. Sweet.
A favourite of WW1 French motorcycle officers, named in honour of Miss Maxine’s grand-mère. It’s a sidecar cocktail with cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice. Sugar crusted rim. Comes with a sidecar of the shaker remains.
Rye or Bourbon, red vermouth, Angostura bitters. Ask to have it sweetened with Amarena cherry syrup if you’re so inclined.
Vodka or Gin, dry vermouth. Dirty or pickle varieties available.
RR’s signature cocktail. Smoky mezcal meets sweet-sour Amarena cherry. Contains egg.
Mezcal, Aperol, Strega and lime. An evolved version of a paper plane with more complex flavours.
Miss Maxine’s personal favourite. A classy drink for a classy woman. A perfect cocktail of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth on a king cube with orange.
Bourbon, amaro, aperol, lemon juice. Tastes like less sweet grapefruit juice. Once you have one it won’t be your last.
Dr. Dooley’s personal favourite. Ginger, blended scotch, honey, lemon with a single malt float served on ice. It’ll cure what ails ya.
